Historic Hotel Chester is the only full-service hotel in Starkville. Your stay includes a full, cooked-to-order breakfast each morning, served in the Library. Hours are 6:30am to 9:30am M - F and 7:00am to 10:00am Sat, Sun & Holidays. Individually listed on the Nation Register of Historic Places and located in the Old Main District of historic downtown, where shops, restaurants and entertainment spots are abundant & within 2 blocks walking distance. Reopened in August 2003 after extensive renovations structural and cosmetic renovations of the public areas and all 36 rooms and suites. The original name given the property in 1925 was Hotel Chester, and today its mission is the same...to provide a well-rounded line of hospitality products with culinary and service standards commensurate with current market conditions and expeactations.
Situated on the corners of Jackson and Main Streets, Hotel Chester is a 1/2 mile from MSU via Main Street (Main Street & University Drive are the same streets, and MS State University is only 2 stop lights East on Main).
