Maximum capacity 250 seats. Tavares Rico Superb food, an excellent wine list, and a handsome Edwardian dining room, have made this one of Lisbon's most famous and formal restaurants. Established as a cafe in the 18th century, today Tavares Rico pleases its customers with the splendour of its furnishings, the quality of its service, and its consistently good Portuguese-inspired menu. KAIS In an old electric plant, is spectacular by candlelight: raw brick walls, high ceilings, iron girders, pulleys and olive trees. The international fare has a Portuguese flair, with dishes like scallops and shrimps in Champagne sauce. ESPACO LISBOA In Alcantara near the Docks, this old metalwork plant was modified and decorated without changing the façade. The decoration includes painted tiles panels and Portuguese marble.
